They sent me the wrong item and charged…

They sent me the wrong item and charged me $10 to return it. Ordered robe but got pants - 2x size difference too. Customer support said they would not charge $10 to return it - but they charged $10.99 anyways.

DOWN THE DRAIN - SHOP ELSEWHERE

Womanwithin.com has joined FullBeauty Brands and gone into the toilet. There is no customer service - they opened a foreign call center and the (barely) English-speaking reps are trained to read set patter and give lectures on policy. They can't answer questions and they can't do anything to help. If you happen to be on the phone with them when their shift ends, they put you on hold and never come back. You suddenly get a recording that says to call back at another time. The return policy is a complete scam. No doubt, the actual "policy" is not to accept returns. They don't accept returns. One is supposed to purchase clothing from a picture and if it is not as depicted, doesn't fit, or inferior, one is out the money and completely stuck. They will never take it back and they have a very sophisticated system of "happy returns" through which they run this scam. If they actually do accept a return, they only refund about 50% of the purchase price, citing various fees, postage costs, etc. In the end, you don't get enough money back to make it worth the time and trouble of the online forms, packaging, phone calls, email exchanges, and driving it to the shipper. If the clothes don't fit, you are better off to donate them.

When you place an order, you don't get the entire order at once. It comes in dribs and drabs, one item at a time over the course of ~2 months. If you ordered pants to go with a top you ordered, good luck, they may ship you the pants, but by the time the coordinating top arrives, they will tell you that your opportunity to return/exchange the pants has expired. So, if clothes don't work out, it's a loss no matter what. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

I purchased a pair of shoes on July 7…

I purchased a pair of shoes on July 7 and when I received the shoes they were too small. I went to the return policy and decided to use Happy returns via their policy. I spoke to someone on the phone to verify what the process will be and told the 1st person that I wanted a larger size. They said okay and took me through the process where all I had to do was take it to a location and it would cost $10.99 extra to return. I was happy to pay it since I really wanted to the shoes. On the day I returned the shoes I called again to verify the location and to verify that I wanted a larger size. They received the shoes around the 20th of July and I waited for my shoes. It is now August and I called to be told that instead of shoes I received a refund back to my PayPal and the 10.99 was deducted from the refund but I never wanted a refund. I was refunded around $36 when I paid a total of $71.13 for the shoes. $71.13 includes the shoes (43.60) shipping 12.99, taxes (4.54) and additional shipping for return (10.99). That is not fair.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I want to warn everyone who has not yet managed to contact this site and was not deceived by them, disgusting service. I ordered sandals for $65 plus $20 shipping. The shoes were not delivered and the money was not returned. Customer service via email had said we need to fill out and return the affidavit via mail to receive a refund. We send it via EMAIL AND POSTAL MAIL. Nothing. Contacted them regarding my refund status and they wrote back that its been 60 days and the chance to receive a refund/return had expired. So I was left with no shoes and no money back. Never ordering from here again.

I finally got a backordered item from…

I finally got a backordered item from March. They sent the wrong size...if this not my fault, I shouldn't be charged 10.99 for the return and get a e-gift card. I just want my money back into my account. I've had it with this place and I'm done ordering.

Do not get their credit card!

I ordered one terry cloth bathrobe that cost $48.00 (a little more or less). They offered me their credit card and I accepted. To make a long story short. They send out the paper bills such that they arrive the day of, or the day after payment is due without a late fee. I have currently paid $96.00 in late fees. I have asked for my account to be closed, but cannot get it done when showing a late fee due. The entire thing is a scam to collect more money, and more money. I do not intend to buy anything from them ever again, no matter how I would pay for it.

Despicable Company

I have not received my second order,
The first order was roughly $91, it was returned in full, which they received, then they tried to give me "store credit" when I told them I did not want store credit, they started piling on extra charges so in the end I paid nearly $30 in "extra charges". They told me they had to charge me for the return of the item, then the shipping of the item when it came to me, even though I had a code that allowed me free shipping and handling coming to me, then I got charged an extra 1099 because I wanted the credit card to be refunded

Right now I just got a phone call from account services looking to collect $144. My second order, the one that never arrived? That was a $94 order including shipping and handling. Do you see what I'm saying?

When I was on the phone with customer service I could actively see them updating and switching my account numbers around to justify them charging me nearly $30 in extra credit every time I would confront the person, the phone calls mysteriously ended, not once, not twice, but four times!

And when I would ask for detailed information, of course they never had answers

But let's get to the product itself

It looks wonderful – in photos –

Upon arrival, everything is either way too big or way too small, opening up each sealed item everything is damp and smells like it's been sitting in a moldy basement for a few weeks. There was even condensation on the inside of the bags!

Buttons and zippers not installed correctly, hemlines undone completely, etc.

To say this company employees sweat shop labor is the understatement of the century. To say this company pays the garment workers probably a dollar a day – if that – then they overcharge us by about $40, are you telling me a pair of cotton Capri pants is really 5999? Seriously?

Overall it was a horrific experience, I've already contacted the Better Business Bureau, twice, and I even contacted a lawyer - just in case. I'm putting my credit card account into dispute

I've never in my life dealt with such a slimy company that has absolutely no respect for its customers that will do any and everything to squeeze every last dime out of you. Completely unethical practices as far as where are the clothing comes from, how it's made, how the workers are paid, etc.

Of course I'm realistic. I understand if I buy a pair of jeans at a place like Walmart there are chances that the workers were not paid a fair living wage. No doubt. But woman within? This company is out to screw you every which way from Sunday in every aspect of their business

Poor customer service regarding credit card.

Comnity who carries the card for Womanwithin just changed over credit cards. I never received mine. I called in and they will not reissue the card. I guess they don't want my business anymore. I have never been late, no where close to my credit limit. I've tried emailing without any response. Very very frustrating. Very poor customer service.

Horrid Odor!

I purchased a lounger from this company. When I opened the package, it smelled funny. Upon washing the item, it stunk up my whole laundry room as well as the other clothes I washed it with. It smelled like body odor and teenage soccer socks mixed together.

I contacted the company. They told me I cannot return it for a refund because I paid with PayPal. What does that have to do with anything.

Going forward, I'll be doing my online shopping elsewhere.
